Advanced LT for KIA

Enhance your vehicle diagnostics by integrating the Advanced LT plugin into Torque Pro, allowing you to monitor specific KIA parameters in real-time. This powerful tool extends the PID/Sensor list to include advanced data from KIA engines and automatic transmissions. With Advanced LT, you can test the plugin with limited sensors before deciding to purchase, though it does not include calculated sensors such as Injector Duty Cycle (%) or HIVEC mode.

Please be aware that while other KIA models and engines might be compatible, the plugin has been thoroughly tested on the following:

The plugin also features an ECU Scanner, which is invaluable for identifying specific sensors on KIA engines that may not yet be supported. To utilize this feature, you'll need to record at least 1000 samples and send the logs to the developer for analysis.

To ensure compatibility, Advanced LT requires the latest version of Torque Pro. This plugin is not a standalone application and will not function without Torque Pro installed on your device.

Plugin Installation

Follow these steps to install the Advanced LT plugin:

1. After downloading the plugin from Google Play, verify its presence in your Android device's installed applications list.
2. Launch Torque Pro and tap on the "Advanced LT" icon.
3. Select the appropriate engine type and return to the Torque Pro main screen.
4. Navigate to Torque Pro's "Settings".
5. Confirm that the plugin is listed in Torque Pro by going to "Settings" > "Plugins" > "Installed Plugins".
6. Scroll down to "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors".
7. Typically, this screen will be empty unless you've previously added pre-defined or custom PIDs.
8. From the menu, choose "Add predefined set".
9. Ensure you select the correct set for your KIA engine type.
10. After selecting the appropriate entry, you should see additional entries in the Extra PIDs/Sensors list.

Adding Displays

Once you've added the additional sensors, follow these steps to create displays:

1. Navigate to the Realtime Information/Dashboard in Torque Pro.
2. Press the menu key and select "Add Display".
3. Choose the appropriate display type, such as Dial, Bar, Graph, or Digital Display.
4. Select the sensor you wish to monitor. Sensors provided by Advanced LT are prefixed with "[KADV]" and are typically listed near the top, following the time sensors.
