Experience effortless urban mobility with emmy's electric moped sharing service! Navigate city streets with ease using our readily available shared electric scooters. emmy operates in five German cities: Berlin, Dresden, Kiel, Munich, and Hamburg, providing flexible rentals—from minutes to days.

Getting Started with emmy:

Download the emmy app—your key to unlocking convenient scooter rentals. Locate a nearby scooter, reserve it, and unlock it using the app. emmy handles charging and provides two helmets (different sizes) and a phone holder for every ride.

Account creation is straightforward:

1. Download the emmy app and register for €4.95, including 15 free minutes.
2. Register and verify your EU driver's license for account approval.
3. Start riding! Use the app to locate and reserve a nearby scooter.
4. End your rental by parking the scooter in a designated public parking area within our service zone.

Operating your emmy Electric Moped:

1. Open the helmet compartment using the red button.
2. Lift the scooter from its kickstand by pushing the handlebars forward.
3. Ensure the red switch on the right handlebar is in the "ON" position and the side stand is fully retracted. (For Yadea scooters, press the "P-button".)
4. Start the engine by simultaneously pulling the brake lever and pressing the "Down" switch on the left handlebar.

Our Scooter Fleet:

Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden feature NIU scooters, known for their lightweight city-friendly design. Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich utilize Yadea mopeds. Remember to park responsibly in designated areas, avoiding bike lanes, bus lanes, and pedestrian walkways.

Pricing:

Registration costs €4.95, including 15 free minutes (valid for 3 months). Scooter booking and reservation are free (15-minute limit). Unlocking costs €1, with a per-minute charge of €0.33. Reduced rates apply for paused rides.

Over 3800 emmy scooters are available across our service area (viewable in the app) in Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich.
