Using the App and Reader with the Same Sensor:

The app and FreeStyle Libre 2 reader cannot issue alarms simultaneously. Starting the sensor with the app enables mobile alerts; starting with the reader activates reader alerts. However, you can scan a reader-started sensor with the app.

Data from the app and reader are not automatically shared. For complete data in reports, scan the sensor every 8 hours with each device. Consolidated data from all devices is viewable at LibreView.com.
