Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor

When using the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, alarms can be set up either on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or on your smartphone, but not simultaneously on both devices. To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor using the app. Conversely, to get alarms on the reader, start the sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. Once started with the reader, you can still scan the sensor with your phone.

Remember, the app and the reader do not share data with each other. To ensure comprehensive data collection, scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you're using. Without regular scans, your reports might not reflect all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
