Lawnchair Legacy represents an older, yet fully-featured version of the Lawnchair launcher, built on the foundation of Launcher3 from Android 9. This version is now in maintenance mode, focusing solely on critical updates related to the Play Store and security enhancements.

Please note that this release does not officially support Android 10.

Lawnchair Legacy utilizes the AccessibilityService permission to optionally enhance certain system functions, such as desktop gestures for actions like turning the screen off. If necessary for your setup, Lawnchair will prompt you to enable this feature. Rest assured, no data is collected through the AccessibilityService; it simply facilitates system actions.

Additionally, Lawnchair can use the Device Administrator permission to lock the screen upon detecting a selected gesture. This feature is optional and comes disabled by default, ensuring user control over their device's security settings.
