MAME4droid: An Android Arcade Emulator

MAME4droid, developed by D. Valdeita, brings the classic arcade experience to Android devices. This port of MAME 0.37b5, based on GP2X and WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5, emulates over 2000 ROMs from the original MAME version and some additions from later releases. Performance varies depending on the game and device; older devices may experience limitations.

ROM Placement:

After installation, place your MAME-titled zipped ROMs in the /sdcard/ROMs/MAME4all/roms folder. Note that MAME4droid uses only MAME4droid & iMAME4all ROM sets ('0.37b5', 'GP2X, WIZ 0.37b11'). Use the included "clrmame.dat" file and ClrMAME Pro (available at http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/) to convert ROMs from other MAME versions.

Limitations:

Save states are not supported due to the underlying MAME version.
