Andor Season 2 Now Streaming: Episode Release Dates Revealed

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 25,2025

As a prequel series to the prequel movie, *Andor* has taken many fans by surprise with its exceptional quality. The Disney+ series delves into the life of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), tracing his journey from a petty thief to the revolutionary hero we see in *Rogue One*. Despite knowing the ultimate fate of Andor, the series captivates with its intricate plots and deeply human narratives, making it what many consider to be the best live-action Star Wars show to date.

After a wait of two and a half years, *Andor* is back for its second and final season, and it seems the anticipation was justified. In his 9/10 review, Clint Gage praises Andor Season 2 for "building on nearly everything that worked so well about Season 1, and continues fleshing out the prequel era of Star Wars. Ultimately the tale of the unsung heroes of the rebellion, Andor creates very personal stories at the heart of a much larger struggle."

*Andor* Season 2 premieres tonight on Disney+, with a unique episode release schedule. Here's everything you need to know to catch the latest episodes.

### Andor: Season 1 [4K UHD]

Will There Be a Season 3?

Play*Andor* Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 left off and leads directly into the events of the Star Wars prequel film, *Rogue One*. Unfortunately, this means Season 2 will be the final chapter for *Andor*. Given the Star Wars timeline, the series will cover four years post-Season 1 finale, so expect some time jumps.

However, this is not the end for Star Wars. More live-action movies are in the works, including one directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling. There are also rumors of a Star Wars horror project from *Andor*'s showrunner, Tony Gilroy. Additionally, several Star Wars games are in development, such as Bit Company's tactical game, *Star Wars Zero Company*. More announcements are expected on Star Wars Day, May 4.
