New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the impressive PC features of Assassin's Creed Shadows. The trailer highlights support for cutting-edge upscaling technologies, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, real-time ray tracing (RTGI and RT Reflections), and a wide range of settings optimized for diverse PC configurations, even lower-spec systems.

At launch, the PC version will boast compatibility with DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring visual fidelity across a broad spectrum of hardware. A built-in benchmark tool will allow players to easily test performance and confirm compatibility with their setup, especially ultra-wide monitors.

Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, coupled with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) graphics card. For a stunning 4K 60 FPS experience at ultra settings with advanced ray tracing enabled, players will need a more powerful system featuring an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft has partnered with Intel to ensure strong optimization for Intel processors. Post-launch performance assessments on AMD systems will be conducted. The development team is keenly aware of past stuttering issues in the series and aims to deliver a smoother experience. Mirage showed significant improvements in this area compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, offering a promising sign for Shadows.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
