Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio is Ubisoft Japan’s Most Popular Character

Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has claimed the top spot in Ubisoft Japan's recent Character Awards! This online competition, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of success, saw fans vote for their favorite characters across the company's diverse game portfolio. The voting period, which ran from November 1st, 2024, concluded with Ezio emerging as the undisputed champion.

To mark this momentous occasion, Ubisoft Japan has unveiled a dedicated webpage featuring Ezio in a unique artistic style. Fans can also download four free digital wallpapers (PC and mobile) showcasing the celebrated assassin. Furthermore, a lucky draw will award 30 fans with an exclusive Ezio acrylic stand set, while 10 exceptionally fortunate individuals will receive a giant 180cm Ezio body pillow!

The top ten characters were revealed, showcasing a diverse selection of beloved gaming icons. Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs) secured second place, followed by Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) in third.

In a related poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise also secured first place among Ubisoft's game series, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry followed in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
