While monsters typically roam the wilds, their occasional raids on villages necessitate swift action. In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, you'll face the formidable Alpha Doshaguma. Prepare for a challenging encounter!

Known Habitats: Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts: Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attacks: Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects: Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items: Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap
Despite its size, Doshaguma is remarkably agile, making it a challenging target for melee weapons. Flash Pods provide a crucial advantage. Their blinding effect stuns the beast momentarily, creating an opening for attacks or even mounting.
Prioritize attacking Doshaguma's forelegs (3-star weakness) for maximum damage. While its hind legs offer a 2-star weakness, they're less effective targets. The head also boasts a 3-star weakness, making it a prime area of focus. The tail, while less impactful damage-wise, is breakable and yields valuable monster parts.
In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, fire and lightning are your best elemental allies against Doshaguma. Bowgun users should stock up on Flaming and Thunder ammo. Equipping fire-enhancing decorations further amplifies your offensive capabilities. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso; lightning attacks are most effective against the head.
Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, a status ailment that culminates in a damaging explosion if left unchecked. Nulberries or Deodorant provide immediate cures. Alternatively, perform up to three dodge rolls to mitigate the effect.
Don't overlook the environment. Doshaguma's habitat often features natural traps. Remember to sheath your weapon before using your slinger and position the trap strategically beneath the monster before activating it. Luring ammo or meat can help guide the monster into position.

For a capture, reduce Doshaguma's HP to 20% or less. Deploy a Shock or Pitfall Trap, then lure the weakened monster into it. Use Luring Ammo or meat if needed. Once trapped, repeatedly fire tranquilizer ammo until it's incapacitated.
Remember to enjoy a hearty meal before the hunt for enhanced buffs. Good luck!
