Sony Pictures has set the stage for an exhilarating cinematic experience with the announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to slice into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This thrilling news came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they disclosed their acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to showcase Tatsuki Fujimoto's gripping story to audiences this fall. US viewers can mark their calendars for late October, while over 80 other countries will witness the film's debut on September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the movie's release in Japan, scheduled for September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was first announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. It centers on Denji, a young protagonist who gets a second chance at life by striking a deal with a Chainsaw Devil dog named Pochita. This newfound power allows Denji to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will spotlight a new character, Reze, a pivotal figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film reunites the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless transition from screen to cinema.
