Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the challenging Garbage area of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Finding traders early on requires some exploration and story progression. While the main quest initially guides you elsewhere, accessing the Slag Heap, a key hub, is possible before the main story dictates.

Reaching the Slag Heap:

The Slag Heap's location, north of the laboratory, is revealed after completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest, which involves visiting the Detention Center and Laboratory before interacting with Scar. However, feel free to explore the Slag Heap earlier; it's a worthwhile detour.

Slag Heap Traders:

Two traders operate within the Slag Heap:

• Boozer: Located conveniently at the entrance, Boozer runs a bar selling food and drinks. He's also a buyer, accepting a wide range of items.
• Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and gear. His room also serves as your stash, and interacting with him initiates a side quest.

Additional Contact:

While not a trader, a Tech resides at the back of the left corridor. A conversation with this individual, Diode, is necessary for main quest progression.
