Disney Embarks on Pixelated Adventure with Upcoming RPG

GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, is venturing into a new realm with their latest project: a retro-inspired RPG featuring a vast array of pixelated Disney characters.

Disney Pixel RPG, slated for release this year, promises a captivating adventure. Players will recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds, facing challenges that blend battle, action, and rhythm elements.

The game allows for character creation and customization, letting players fight alongside their favorite Disney heroes. While primarily an auto-battler, players can directly control their characters at key moments. The storyline revolves around battling mysterious programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossover games. However, Disney's extensive library presents an even greater opportunity for character selection, a challenge GungHo seems well-equipped to handle.
