Dynasty Warriors M Shuts Down a Year After Launch

Nexon announced the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors M, the mobile game based on the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Players who have enjoyed leading their officers into battle should make the most of the remaining time.

In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024. Nexon's announcement expressed gratitude to the community but didn't provide specific reasons for the shutdown. The game's underperformance likely contributed to this decision. Launched in November 2023, Dynasty Warriors M's lifespan was less than a year.

The game's final battle will conclude on February 20th, 2025. A final chapter update is expected this month.

Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action and strategy, building upon the classic Musou gameplay. Players could collect and train 50 officers from five factions, conquering castles across a vast map with 13 regions and 500 stages. The story mode recreated iconic historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
