Marvel Rivals Season 1: A Deep Dive into the Eternal Night Falls Battle Pass

Get ready for the chilling debut of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! NetEase Games has unveiled a captivating trailer showcasing the Darkhold battle pass, featuring Dracula as the season's formidable antagonist and a thrilling storyline centered around the Fantastic Four's battle against his sinister forces.

This season's battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a treasure trove of rewards. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. The pass unlocks 10 unique skins, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. Don't worry about finishing it before the season ends; uncompleted passes don't expire.

The battle pass showcases a striking array of character skins, each imbued with a dark and gothic atmosphere fitting the "Eternal Night Falls" theme:

Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus (inspired by his House of M appearance)
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor (a medieval-inspired design)
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker (reminiscent of Van Helsing)

The aesthetic is undeniably dark, with a blood moon casting its ominous glow over a New York City backdrop in the new maps. Loki's All-Butcher skin exudes menace, while Moon Knight's black and white contrast is striking. Scarlet Witch's classic red and purple ensemble remains, and Adam Warlock sports golden armor with a crimson cape.

While the battle pass is generating significant excitement, the absence of skins for the newly introduced Fantastic Four (Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic) has surprised some players. These characters will debut in Season 1, but their cosmetic items will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, the sheer volume of content in this upcoming season has many fans eagerly anticipating what NetEase Games will deliver next.
