EXILIUM: An Exploration into Pity Carryover

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players concerns the pity system and whether progress carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Will Pity Carry Over to the Next Limited Banner?

Yes, your pity counter and pulls from one limited banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the next limited banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid limited banners ran concurrently. Pity progress increased regardless of which banner you pulled from. If you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to Ullrid and have a 50/50 chance of immediately obtaining Ullrid. This carryover applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Once Suomi and Ullrid's banners end, your pity progress transfers to the subsequent limited banner.

Important Note: Pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner to approach pity, then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed rate-up character.

Soft and Hard Pity:

While hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually increase until hard pity is reached at 80 pulls.

Hopefully, this clarifies the pity system in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. Check out The Escapist for more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations.
