Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty chill to the battlefield! This latest update introduces Koda, a new character with unique arctic abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.

Koda, a newcomer from the arctic, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This ability allows him to detect enemies hidden behind cover (excluding those crouching or prone) and highlights enemy locations during parachute descent, providing a significant tactical advantage.

The star of the Winterlands update is Frosty Tracks – icy rails that let players dash across the map while shooting, maneuvering, and using throwables. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. These tracks will appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

The update also features Aurora Events in both game modes. Battle Royale boasts aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad includes aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides a team-wide buff.
