A new game from the creators of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has been announced

The renowned Spanish studio MercurySteam, celebrated for its contributions to titles like *Castlevania: Lords of Shadow* and *Metroid Dread*, has announced an exciting new venture: an action-RPG called *Blades of Fire*. In partnership with publisher 505 Games, this game invites players into a captivating dark fantasy universe teeming with enigmatic races and terrifying creatures.

The debut trailer offers a glimpse into the game's thrilling hack-and-slash combat, distinctive visual flair, and an immersive, shadowy atmosphere. *Blades of Fire* echoes the gameplay and artistic style of *Lords of Shadow*, while its environments and enemy designs draw inspiration from the *Darksiders* series.
