Genshin 5.0 Debut: Bennett Shines Bright

The highly anticipated Natlan special program in Genshin Impact is just around the corner, igniting fervent excitement within the community. Hoyoverse has officially announced the program's premiere date, set for this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4) on Twitch and YouTube.

Promotional art for the program, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," hints at exciting Natlan reveals, including new banners and free rewards.

A Surprising Free Character: Bennett

The announcement of a free Bennett character has sparked considerable discussion. While many players anticipated a free Kachina, a native of Natlan, Hoyoverse has opted for Bennett, the adventurous four-star character, obtainable through a world quest. While Bennett's origins are rumored to be in Natlan, this departure from the tradition of providing a free character from the new region is noteworthy. Kachina, therefore, will not be available as a free character.

Generous Free Primogems and Wishes

The abundance of free in-game currency is generating considerable buzz. The initial estimate of 113 free pulls has fluctuated, settling around 115 pulls for players who diligently complete all version 5.0 content. Even with a more casual approach, players can anticipate approximately 90 free pulls.

With version 5.0 launching on August 28th, coinciding with Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary, players can look forward to additional celebratory rewards. A seven-day login event will offer ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a companion pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and events, players could accumulate roughly 18,435 Primogems, equivalent to 115 wishes.
