Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Drops Its Halloween Update For 2024!

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery's 2024 Halloween update has arrived, bringing a spooky celebration throughout October and into November! The Dark Arts are in full swing with numerous eerie events and a festive makeover of the game's environment.

A Spooky Celebration

The Halloween spirit is immediately apparent in Hogwarts Mystery. Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Castle are adorned with spooky decorations, and new locations join the Halloween festivities this year.

A house-themed pumpkin hunt offers magical rewards leading up to October 31st, while a Creature Expedition challenges players to confront the fearsome Acromantula.

The Swooping Evil, a terrifying creature from Fantastic Beasts, has infiltrated Hogwarts Castle! A Special Adventure requires players to assist Hagrid in capturing it before anyone is harmed.

A new side quest, "The Vampire of Hogsmeade," introduces vampires lurking near Hogwarts, prompting Professor Dumbledore to temporarily close Hogsmeade. Unravel the mystery by unlocking the One-Eyed Witch statue and investigating the fog-shrouded secrets.

New Additions to the Halloween Update

The Hogwarts Diary is a new feature where players solve puzzles through various in-game activities. Completing diary sections reveals artwork via magical inkwells, gradually unveiling a larger narrative.

The initial task involves assisting Madam Pince in the library to locate the Lost Spore Scrolls, penned by former Headmistress Professor Phyllida Spore. These scrolls detail the school's magical fungi.
