Helldivers 2 creator hints at possible collab with Warhammer 40,000

Following the successful Helldivers 2 collaboration with the Killzone franchise, speculation is mounting regarding a potential crossover with another iconic universe: Warhammer 40,000. While some doubted Games Workshop's approval, Arrowhead Studios head Shams Jorjani confirmed their enthusiasm for such a collaboration, stating that Games Workshop is receptive to the idea and that the development team are themselves big fans of Warhammer 40k.

This statement fueled anticipation among Helldivers 2 players, suggesting a future crossover is a real possibility.

Helldivers 2's premium content now focuses on carefully selected themes, exemplified by the Killzone 2 partnership. The developers have emphasized that these crossovers will remain infrequent, only occurring when they organically enhance the game's established world.

The current Killzone-themed community challenge, tied to Galactic War, offers players the chance to earn additional Killzone-themed rewards based on overall community performance.
