Wes Johnson, the iconic Bethesda voice actor known for his roles in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and countless other games, was found critically ill in his hotel room last week. His family is now seeking support from fans.

As reported by PC Gamer, Johnson's wife Kim and family have launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover his mounting medical expenses and living costs while he's unable to work. The GoFundMe page states that Johnson is currently fighting for his life in an intensive care unit.

The situation unfolded when Johnson, having volunteered to host a benefit event for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta on January 22nd, failed to appear. After repeated attempts to contact him, his wife Kim alerted hotel security, who found him unconscious and barely alive in his room. Emergency responders struggled to locate a pulse.

The GoFundMe campaign initially set a goal of $50,000, but has already surpassed that target significantly, raising over $144,791 from nearly 2,200 generous supporters. Beyond his extensive video game voice acting career, Johnson has served as the public address announcer for the Washington Capitals for 25 years and boasts a diverse resume in film and television.

His extensive work with Bethesda includes memorable roles such as Ron Hope in Starfield, Prince of Madness Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, three Daedric Princes (Boethiah, Malacath, and Molag Bal) in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others.
