KEMCO Launches Card Deck-Building Roguelite Novel Rogue on Android

You play as Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the hallowed halls of the Ancient Library. Wright's journey takes him through the captivating stories held within four magical books, each transporting him to a unique and vibrant world.

One book might find you aiding a princess knight in reclaiming her fallen kingdom, while another plunges you into the enigmatic mysteries of the underworld. Your choices significantly impact these worlds, ensuring that each playthrough offers a fresh and unforgettable experience.

Novel Rogue's Gameplay

At its core, Novel Rogue features a turn-based card battle system that dynamically adapts to the book you're currently exploring. Each of the four worlds boasts its own unique deck-building mechanics. Defeat enemies, select from three new cards after each battle, and craft the ultimate deck to conquer your foes.

Strategic depth is enhanced by the "Change" command, allowing you to strategically redistribute damage among your allies. The "Novel Power" mechanic empowers your deck using ink, while the challenging "Deep Record" mode significantly increases dungeon difficulty for those seeking a truly epic battle.

As you progress, collect treasures to strengthen your relationships with various characters, ultimately unlocking special endings. Customize your appearance with "Witch Stones," allowing you to swap character costumes and showcase your favorite looks.
