What is Bussing in Marvel Rivals?

When reporting players in Marvel Rivals, options include "Throwing," "Griefing," and now, "Bussing." Unlike its colloquial meaning, Bussing in Marvel Rivals refers to players intentionally teaming with cheaters to artificially inflate their rankings. This was confirmed by Marvel Rivals in response to a player's inquiry on Reddit (via Dexerto): "‘Bussing’ typically refers to players intentionally teaming up with cheaters to boost their game rankings. If you notice any related anomalies, you can report the player by selecting the option.” Knowing how to spot Bussing is key to effective reporting.

How to Catch Bussing in Marvel Rivals

Identifying cheaters in Marvel Rivals often involves observing killcams. Unnaturally accurate shots or unnatural movement patterns are telltale signs. However, not all team members are necessarily cheating.

To identify Bussing, you may need to stay in the match longer to investigate the enemy team's behavior. Some players might be unwitting participants on a cheater's team. Avoid rash reporting. Observe carefully and consider using in-game chat to gather more information about the other team's interactions.
