Metal Gear Solid: Déjà Vu: Delta Confirmed

Author:Kristen Update:Feb 23,2025

The release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was officially unveiled during Sony's State of Play 2025 presentation, confirming previous leaks. A new trailer accompanied the announcement, solidifying the August 28, 2025 launch. This date, and the trailer, had already surfaced via the PlayStation Store.

Intriguingly, a collaboration with Ape Escape was teased, with a cryptic "And More" suggesting additional crossovers are in the works. This initial crossover hints at a nod to the original Metal Gear Solid 3's monkey minigame, where Snake used stun grenades and his unique weapon to subdue the primates.

PlayWhile boasting a fresh first-person perspective, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater appears to be a remarkably faithful recreation of its predecessor. IGN's preview described it as a "very shiny HD remaster," praising its visual fidelity but noting a potential missed opportunity for a more substantial remake. It's a visually stunning experience, but arguably too close to the original.
