Hunt a New Beast!

Missed the first Open Beta? Fear not! A second round is scheduled for the first two weeks of February, providing ample opportunity to test the game before its official launch on February 28th. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the news via the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This iteration boasts new content, including the formidable Gypceros, a familiar foe from previous Monster Hunter titles.

Character data from the first beta is transferable to this one, and subsequently to the full game upon release. However, progress won't carry over. Participants will receive in-game rewards: a charming Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a valuable bonus item pack for a smoother start in the full game.

Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating, "We’ve heard your feedback about missing the first beta or wanting a second chance, hence this opportunity." He also confirmed the development team's dedication to finalizing the full game. While recent community updates highlighted planned improvements, these won't be included in this beta phase.
