Nintendo Unveils Switch 1 Direct Before Switch 2 Event

Nintendo has announced an exciting Nintendo Direct focused exclusively on the beloved Nintendo Switch. Set for 7am PT on March 27, this Direct will showcase around 30 minutes of upcoming games, giving fans a glimpse into what's next for this iconic console.

It's important to note that Nintendo has explicitly stated there will be no updates about the Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation. Even as Nintendo prepares to launch the Switch 2, there are still numerous exciting titles in development for the original Switch. Games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam are slated for 2025, while Pokémon Legends: Z-A is expected to hit the Switch later this year. Additionally, the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong, announced six years ago, is confirmed for release on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Nintendo Switch.
