Santa Monica Studio has officially debunked these rumors, stating:

"Pantheons collide! We’re thrilled to present a lineup of Greek and Norse characters for this panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of God of War where we’ll reflect on the past two decades of the series. Given the star-studded lineup and the anticipation surrounding this milestone, we want to make it clear that no announcements are planned for this event." Santa Monica Studio

While fans won't be seeing any game announcements, they can look forward to new thematic artwork featuring Kratos and Jörmungandr. The event will also include appearances by beloved actors from the series, such as Terrence Carson, who lent his voice to Kratos, and Carole Ruggier, the voice behind Athena. This special panel is scheduled for March 22, promising a nostalgic and celebratory look back at the God of War saga.
