How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Upon entering the open world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a bed for yourself is a priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the option to follow either the blacksmith or the miller's questline. Both paths, led by Radovan or Kreyzl respectively, will eventually provide you with a bed.

In my experience, choosing Radovan was advantageous as he's located in Tachov, closer to your starting point. To proceed, head to Tachov and initiate Radovan's questline. After completing the smithing tutorial, you'll gain access to a room next to the forge where you can sleep.

Bed in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2The bed in this room will be marked as yours on the world map, and there’s an inventory chest available for storing your items. Whenever you need to heal up, return to this spot for a restful night's sleep.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be instances when you're unable to reach your personal bed in time. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with campsites along roadsides and in forests. Some might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before using the facilities, while others may be unoccupied.

Once you locate a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can use the bedrolls to sleep. Keep in mind, the comfort level at campsites won't match that of a regular bed, but it's effective for healing.

In dire situations, you might consider sleeping in NPCs' beds. However, be cautious; if caught, they could report you to the guards unless you can smooth talk your way out of trouble.

That's your guide to sleeping in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and game information, including how to use a torch and the best perks to acquire first, be sure to visit The Escapist.
