TrueTrophies' collaboration with GameInsights granted them access to a sample dataset of over 3.1 million active PSN accounts. This enabled them to monitor player engagement across all PS5 and PS4 games. Leveraging this data, they determined that Stellar Blade's player count substantially rose by 40.14% post-update.

It's also noteworthy that Stellar Blade wasn't discounted on the PS store last week, suggesting the player count surge is primarily due to new content. Despite lacking the much-anticipated photo mode and the temporary nature of the update, the increase is substantial enough to rekindle fan enthusiasm.

The Stellar Blade summer update introduced a limited-time summer vacation zone in the Great Desert Oasis, featuring new background music and sunbed interactions. Two outfits, themed to match the update, are available at Clyde's shop. It also resolved various issues, including a hair color fix in the Boss Challenge Preset, and other bug fixes.
