Rocksteady Studios has released the final major content update, Season 4 Episode 8, for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, this update concludes the game's live service. While servers will remain online, no further content will be developed after the January 14th patch.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released to mixed reception in February 2024, is ending its live service less than a year after launch. Announced on December 9th, 2024, the decision to cease development followed largely negative player feedback regarding the game's unexpected live-service elements. Season 4 Episode 8 marks the definitive end of content updates. However, Rocksteady assures players that all online features will remain accessible.
Following a brief period of server downtime, Season 4 Episode 8: Balance is now live. This final update introduces a Libra-themed Infamy Set, powerful new Notorious weapons, and a climactic Mayhem mission against Brainiac. Significant bug fixes and gameplay improvements, including reduced Squad Level XP requirements, are also included.
Although development has ceased, players can continue enjoying Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League online. Furthermore, thanks to a previous update (Season 4 Episode 7), the game is now playable offline, allowing access to the main campaign and all seasonal story missions without an internet connection. While Rocksteady hasn't announced a server shutdown, offline play ensures continued access to the game's content.
For those yet to experience the game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is currently available on PlayStation Plus until February 3rd, alongside The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.

Chronos’ Equilibrium: Deals 25% bonus damage for each 1% of missing shield, rewarding aggressive, high-risk play.
