Toast-Based Platforming Delight: 'Cato' Arriving Soon!

A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is coming soon to Android! The name itself is a playful combination of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's unique premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers of Cato: Buttered Cat did, and the answer is pure, gravity-defying fun!

Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, the game's positive reception led to its full development. Already available on Steam for PC, Cato: Buttered Cat is on its way to Android and other platforms. While the Google Play listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register via the official TapTap page.

Gameplay:

Cato: Buttered Cat is a delightful puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and explore five whimsical worlds filled with quirky contraptions. With 200 levels (including side quests) and 30 outfits, there's plenty to discover. The gameplay cleverly utilizes the cat's agility and the toast's projectile properties, allowing you to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add to the replayability.
