Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline

Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing their unique combat skills. While Gallica is present from the outset, her combat participation is limited initially.

Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the recruitment dates for each party member. Reading ahead may spoil some plot elements.

Each party member's arrival is tied to specific story events on particular in-game dates. Note that some characters join without immediate control, while others awaken to their Archetype just before their first battle. Awakened Archetypes can be utilized by any party member.

Party Member Recruitment Schedule:

• Strohl (Warrior): Joins on 6/5 (Border Fort events), but his Archetype awakens on 6/6 (Nord Mines). Until then, he's AI-controlled.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events (6/5), but becomes a full party member on 6/6 after Strohl's awakening. Grius doesn't undergo an Archetype awakening.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting on 6/10, fully joining the party and awakening her Archetype during the boss fight on 6/11.

• Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party integration occur on 7/4 within Martira's main dungeon during a largely linear story segment.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Junah's awakening and party join date is 8/13.

• Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon anytime between 8/19 and 9/4 will add her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest, however, begins after this period.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins on 9/11 (Saint's Day events), but combat use is delayed until the following day (optional).
