World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger, offering seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking campaigns running until February 24th. Prepare for a whirlwind tour through WoW's history, earning fantastic rewards along the way.

This extended event builds upon the popular five-week run from September 2023. Players can once again earn Timewarped Badges, a powerful experience buff, and new rewards. The key is the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, which provides a 20% experience boost after completing four Timewalking dungeons.

This year's schedule is a chronological journey through WoW expansions:

• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King

The ultimate prize? Achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks and unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, rewarding you with the charming Timely Buzzbee mount! Timewalking vendors will also stock new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor, and are making the Sandy Shalewing pet available again for those who missed it last time. Plus, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest will grant Heroic gear during the event.

With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and the current Turbulent Timeways, players will have enjoyed a staggering 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking!

The Turbulent Timeways event's conclusion date also hints at future WoW plans. The final Timewalking campaign ends February 24th. Considering Blizzard's typical eight-week release cycle and the holiday season, this strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, "Undermined," will likely launch on February 25th—ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With the return of Plunderstorm (January 14th-February 17th) and The War Within's upcoming major content update, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for a thrilling start to 2025.
