Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snowy Start and Stellar Additions

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat this January 2025! Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a thrilling skiing game featuring co-op and PvP modes, drops on January 21st as a day-one title. This exciting addition follows a relatively quiet first half of the month, which primarily saw existing titles shift between subscription tiers.

While the initial January 2025 Game Pass additions were modest, the second half promises a significant boost. Following Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, three more day-one games are slated for release: Eternal Strands (January 28th), Sniper Elite: Resistance (January 30th), and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (January 31st).

The standout amongst these newcomers is undoubtedly Eternal Strands, an action-adventure title from Yellow Brick Games, helmed by BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw. Its Zelda-inspired gameplay is sure to captivate players.

It's worth noting that, as with previous day-one releases since the tier changes, these new titles will initially be exclusive to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
