TouchArcade Review: Prepare for Balatro's Mobile Debut!

The acclaimed poker-inspired roguelike, Balatro, from LocalThunk (developer) and Playstack (publisher), is finally hitting mobile devices! Launching later this month (September 26th), it will be available on iOS, Android, and Apple Arcade. This premium title will cost $9.99 on iOS and Android, but Apple Arcade subscribers can access a "+" version from day one.

Having already sold over 2 million copies across various platforms (PS5, Switch, Steam, PS4, and Xbox) in under six months, Balatro is poised to make a significant impact on the mobile gaming scene. Future plans include a major free update in 2025, introducing fresh gameplay mechanics and strategies.
