Dead Cells Updates Delayed, Coming Early 2023

Dead Cells Mobile's final free updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!

The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed. However, developer Playdigious has announced a firm release date of February 18th, 2025, for both updates on Android and iOS.

These updates, already released on console and PC, will introduce exciting new content:

Clean Cut:

• Two new weapons: the Sewing Scissors (Survival) and the Giant Comb (Brutality).
• A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, allowing customization of your character's head appearance.
• And more!

The End is Near:

• New enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer.
• New skills and colorless mutations, such as Demonic Strength (30% damage boost when cursed, increasing with curse stacks).
• Additional surprises!

Playdigious' commitment to providing free content for Dead Cells is commendable. While the end of free updates allows the studio to pursue other projects, they've earned a well-deserved break after delivering so much.
