Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025

Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the RTX 50 series GPUs, featuring groundbreaking DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation, initially exclusive to the new lineup. This enhancement promises significant FPS boosts across 75 games and applications. Launch titles include highly anticipated releases like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel Rivals.

The Blackwell architecture powering the RTX 50 series builds upon the Ada Lovelace generation, refining DLSS capabilities. Multi-Frame Generation, a key feature, delivers faster FPS increases than its predecessor. The flagship RTX 5090, boasting 32GB of GDDR7 memory, carries a starting MSRP of $1,999. Other models include the RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549).

Nvidia demonstrated the impact of DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation using Cyberpunk 2077. With ray tracing enabled and DLSS/Multi-Frame Generation disabled, the RTX 5090 achieved sub-30 FPS. Activating these features dramatically increased the frame rate to 236 FPS.
