My Hero Academia: The Strongest Announces EOS After 4 Years of Service

My Hero Academia: The Strongest Mobile Game to End Service

Xin Yuan Studios has announced the end of service (EOS) for its popular mobile action RPG, My Hero Academia: The Strongest. Based on Kohei Horikoshi's acclaimed anime series, the game launched globally in May 2021 and will officially shut down on March 31st, 2025.

Published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, My Hero Academia: The Strongest allowed players to explore the beloved anime universe, recruiting iconic characters like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki for thrilling missions in a detailed open world.

Service Termination Details:

  • Download Removal: The game was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on February 24th, 2025. In-app purchases have also been disabled.
  • Server Shutdown: All game servers will be deactivated on March 31st, 2025. Official social media accounts will be subsequently deleted.
  • Customer Support: A 30-day grace period for customer support will follow the server shutdown to address player inquiries.
  • Refund Policy: Players who made purchases between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, are eligible for a refund before the server closure.
  • Farewell Gift: A final in-game reward will be distributed to all players, including SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins. Details can be found on the game's official website (while it remains active).

Reasons for Closure:

The closure of gacha RPGs is becoming increasingly common. While My Hero Academia: The Strongest enjoyed a strong initial launch with engaging PvP and a robust combat system, a lack of significant updates after its first anniversary and reported mismanagement ultimately led to its demise. The game's four-year lifespan, despite the lack of consistent updates, is noteworthy.
