Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

This final Penacony adventure introduces two new 5-star characters:

• Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character focused on team synergy. His abilities boost ally and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage amplification.
• Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Mastering enemy defense shattering, Fugue weakens opponents and increases squadmate Break Effect damage.

The limited Warp event also features the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds new Astral Express features: a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters via the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event.

Players can also claim free rewards using Honkai: Star Rail codes.

Future updates, including Version 3.0, promise improvements to the Relic system, continuation of the Path of Remembrance storyline, and new content like memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
