Infinity Nikki Snapped Up Devs from BotW and The Witcher 3

Infinity Nikki's upcoming release boasts a behind-the-scenes documentary showcasing its impressive development journey and veteran team. The December 4th (EST/PST) launch of this fashion-focused open-world game is preceded by a 25-minute film detailing the years of dedication poured into its creation.

The documentary reveals the project's secretive beginnings in December 2019, with a dedicated team working in a separate office. Game designer Sha Dingyu highlights the unique challenge of integrating the Nikki IP's established dress-up mechanics into an open-world environment, a process described as building a framework from the ground up. This marks a significant evolution for the Nikki franchise, transitioning from mobile-only titles to a PC and console debut. The producer's clay model of the Grand Millewish Tree symbolizes the team's passion and commitment to realizing their vision.

The video offers glimpses of Miraland's vibrant world, emphasizing the Grand Millewish Tree and its inhabitants. Game designer Xiao Li points out the dynamic NPCs, each with their own routines, contributing to a more immersive and lively experience.

The game's stunning visuals are a testament to its talented team. Beyond the core Nikki team, Infinity Nikki secured the expertise of industry veterans, including Lead Sub Director Kentaro “Tomiken” Tominaga (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and concept artist Andrzej Dybowski (The Witcher 3). After over 1800 days of development, the game's launch promises a captivating journey through Miraland alongside Nikki and Momo.
