Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1

Get ready for a thrilling update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled the upcoming Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, bringing with it a wave of exciting new content. Headlining the additions is the arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, showcased in a recent gameplay trailer.

The trailer highlights Invisible Woman's unique abilities as a Strategist class. Her kit includes a primary attack that simultaneously damages foes and heals allies, a knockback for close-range threats, temporary invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.

Joining Invisible Woman is Mister Fantastic, also revealed in a separate gameplay video. He demonstrates versatile combat capabilities, combining stretching attacks with defensive maneuvers, leading many to see him as a hybrid between Vanguard and Duelist roles. His increased health compared to average DPS characters further supports this assessment.

Beyond the Fantastic Four additions (Human Torch and The Thing are slated for a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch), Season 1 introduces new maps and a fresh game mode. A new battle pass will also be available. The season is expected to run for approximately three months.

While the inclusion of the Fantastic Four is generating significant excitement, the absence of Blade, despite leaked data suggesting his presence in the game files, has caused some disappointment. The reveal of Dracula as the main antagonist of Season 1 further fueled anticipation for Blade's arrival, but his debut will have to wait.
