Nintendo's Surprise Hit: Nintendo Music App Now Available for NSO Members!

Nintendo Music App

Nintendo has launched a new mobile app exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) subscribers! Dive into decades of iconic game soundtracks with Nintendo Music, available now on iOS and Android.

Exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online Members

From The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario to Splatoon, Nintendo Music offers a vast library of game soundtracks for streaming and download. The app is free to download and use, but requires an active NSO membership (standard or Expansion Pack). A free trial is available for those wanting to test it before subscribing.

Nintendo Music App Interface

The app boasts a user-friendly interface, allowing searches by game, track name, or curated playlists. It intelligently suggests music based on your Switch gaming history and even lets you create and share your own playlists. A spoiler-free listening mode ensures uninterrupted enjoyment for those currently playing the games.

For focused work or study, a looping function allows continuous playback for 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Nintendo promises ongoing library expansion with new songs and playlists added regularly.

Nintendo Music App Features

This new app enhances the value of the NSO subscription, which already includes access to classic NES, SNES, and Game Boy games. It cleverly taps into nostalgia, providing a legal and convenient alternative to other music streaming services.

Currently, Nintendo Music is available in the U.S. and Canada. International expansion is hoped for given the significant global interest.
