Following the December 2024 announcement of the Unova Tour (February 2025), Niantic has revealed the exciting addition of Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, and Shiny Meloetta. From February 21st to 23rd, 2025, attendees of the in-person events in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, USA, can participate in five-star raids to catch Kyurem and then fuse it into its powerful alternate forms.

Fusion requires:

  • Black Kyurem: 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy.
  • White Kyurem: 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy.

Fusion Energies are earned by defeating Black or White Kyurem in raids. Reversion to the base Kyurem form is free. Shiny Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom will have increased encounter rates during the event.

Global Event and Shiny Meloetta

The excitement continues! For those unable to attend the in-person events, the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global event will run from March 1st to 2nd, 2025, offering free access to all players.
