Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Maintenance!

Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After an unexpectedly long "never-ending maintenance" period that began in September 2023, it's finally back! While initially slated for a summer 2024 return, the developers needed extra time to address core functionality issues.

What's New in the Re-released SAOVS?

The game relaunches with Battle Royal Season 1, a four-player arena battle where the player with the most knockouts wins. Participate in League Matches to earn Titles and accessories. This season runs until December 30th.

Returning players receive a welcome gift: 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets.

A "Restart Celebration: Six Great Campaigns" event offers up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards, lasting until January 30th, 2025.

Players can also acquire the SSR Sword Spark Mito (Light-elemental fighter), and new SSR Ability Cards, "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.
