New Collectibles at the Nintendo Tokyo Store

Six Magnetic TotK Zonai Device Capsules Added

Nintendo Tokyo's gachapon (or gacha) machines now offer magnetic capsule toys featuring Zonai Devices from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This exclusive collection features six iconic in-game devices.

While the game boasts a vast array of Zonai Devices, this collectible set includes only six: Zonai Fan, Flame Emitter, Portable Pot, Shock Emitter, Big Wheel, and Rocket. Each magnetic toy capsule also includes a magnet designed to resemble the Ultrahand's adhesive, perfect for combining with other items. The capsule design itself mimics the in-game Device Dispensers.

Forget Zonai Charges or Construct materials; these collectibles require a monetary investment. Each capsule costs approximately $4, and purchases are limited to two at a time. To acquire additional capsules, customers must rejoin the queue, which may be lengthy given the game's popularity.

Previous Nintendo Gachapon Releases

Nintendo's gachapon offerings began in June 2021 with the Controller Button Collection at their Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto locations, targeting fans of retro consoles. This initial release included six controller keychains, three Famicom and three NES designs. A second wave, launched in July 2024, featured SNES, N64, and GameCube controllers.

These exclusive items are also available at Nintendo's Check-In booth in Narita Airport. While the Zonai Devices are currently exclusive to the Tokyo store, future availability at other locations is possible. Resellers may also offer these collectibles, though at a potentially inflated price.
