Gundam enthusiasts rejoice! The official announcement of a GUNDAM Trading Card Game (TCG) has arrived! A promotional video posted on September 27th to the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account launched the "new global TCG project #GUNDAM." This exciting news coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, celebrating 45 years since the original series debuted. The format—physical cards only, online play, or a hybrid—remains unconfirmed.

Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement livestream on the official Bandai YouTube channel. The event will include popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a passionate GUNPLA builder, previously participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his deep appreciation for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
