Assassin's Creed Shadows Art Book Unexpectedly Leaks on Adult Site

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 02,2025

New details about the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows have emerged online following a leak of an artbook titled "The Art of Assassin's Creed Shadows." This leak, which surfaced on platforms including a hub for hentai, has ignited a frenzy across the internet. The artbook, reportedly containing hundreds of pages of concept art, quotations, and development information, has been shared widely since its initial posting on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. Interestingly, the leak's origin from a site known for hosting hentai adds an unusual twist to the story. IGN has reached out to Ubisoft for an official statement on the matter.

Although the gallery was quickly removed from the original site, it has since been archived and can be found on various file-sharing platforms and galleries. The leaked artbook showcases concepts of historical figures, major cities, and a range of weapons, potentially hinting at plot spoilers for Assassin's Creed Shadows. While we await official confirmation, the images appear authentic and provide a tantalizing glimpse into what fans can expect.

This leak comes just ahead of Assassin's Creed Shadows' scheduled release on March 20, 2025, following a delay that shifted the game's launch from 2024 to February. At a recent preview event, IGN had the opportunity to discuss the delay with Assassin's Creed Shadows game director Charles Benoit. He explained that the delay was primarily focused on "polishing" the game, without altering any major systems. Benoit highlighted that the team made minor updates to progression and balancing to enhance player engagement. However, the primary focus of the delay was refining the parkour system to better suit the unique architectural challenges of Feudal Japan.

"The Japanese architecture, the roofs [are] super complex," Benoit stated. "Probably the most complex thing that I ever worked with if we compared to Odyssey and Syndicate. We needed specific codes and specific animations to support something super fluid, changing the transition of the parkour to make it even more fluid. So that's one of the specific feedback that we heard that we wanted to address, and it really improved since the last few months."
